Season 1 Episode 1 East Meets West 
Traditional Vietnamese values clash with modern expectations when Peter and Trudy compromise by having two ceremonies. Angelique Sobschak is the seasoned wedding planner recruited to help this couple round up their three-ring circus and bring Trudy’s spending habits in line with reality. The cake is a masterpiece—with a price to match—and the gorgeous flowers look like props from a magazine cover. But the question remains if a bride truly does need four wedding dresses. Does perfect mean expensive? Can Angelique ensure that Trudy’s excessive spending doesn’t cost her a groom?


Season 1 Episode 2 I Want Gerberas
Rob and Amy dream of a sylvan outdoor wedding chalked with vivid colours and untraditional touches. Their wedding planner, Yvette Shier, has her own ideas of what a wedding should be, even if the budget is getting stretched. Untraditional touches are not exactly what Yvette envisions. The groom is tense—and with good reason—he is waiting for a divorce to be finalized! The bride can’t find her dress and there is a rainstorm. Rain is supposed to be a harbinger of good luck at a wedding, but will this wedding come up daisies?   


Season 1 Episode 3 Family Connection
Susanna and Mike lead busy and active lives and realize—all too suddenly—that their dream wedding is just that: all dreams and no plans. Enter Jaime Crouch, a wedding planner and award winning décor artist who arrives two weeks before the wedding to wrap up loose ends and put order where chaos could easily reign. Jaime tries—he really does—to steer Susanna in the right direction but she protests every step of the way, preferring to use her family connections. There is a lesson here for everyone: will Susanna discover that you really do only get what you pay for? 
 


Season 1 Episode 4 It’s Not In The Budget 
 Nicole is a bride with a definite vision of her wedding. She knows the look, colour, style and mood she wants for her big day. Jay Wheatley is a discerning woman with a lot of experience planning weddings; she can make Nicole’s dreams come true if only the bride will budge on her budget. With flowers from the grocery store gracing the venue and not one cent allocated for décor, the fiscal and style challenge falls to the wedding planner. Jay concedes that a homemade cake is a beautiful touch, but doubts it will survive a five-hour car trip from kitchen to wedding. 


Season 1 Episode 5 Double or Nothing
Natalie and Blair are very much in love and believe that their wedding day plans are all wrapped up in a tidy little package. Everything seems so perfect. They get a wake-up call, however, when wedding planners Lori Eldridge and Carina Holtby inform them that the construction of their charming wedding venue won’t be completed in time for the big day. With a location change, a date change and a major budget change the bride and groom are unhappy. Can this couple scramble to find the extra money to make their dream into a reality? Sometimes two wedding planners really are better than one.
 

Season 1 Episode 6 Size Matters
Agnes and Sean opt for a tasteful and sophisticated affair after they realize they can’t afford to have their dream wedding in Fiji. Top wedding planner Cynthia Martyn is brought in to assist Agnes with her indecisive ways and her very opinionated and involved mother, Diane. Tensions are running high and the bride won’t let her groom out of her sight, which isn’t helping the situation. The wedding dress is lovely, but it is a size fourteen and the bride is a size four. Cynthia’s task is to make all of the pieces fit and save the day, and some relationships.
 

Season 1 Episode 7 A Little Bit Rock n’ Roll
Ashley and Frank want their quirky wedding to reflect their personalities. They want a rock-and-roll wedding that people will remember forever. Angelique Sobschak is a wedding planner who has seen it all and helps Ashley and Frank toss aside traditions that do not appeal to them. With a classic Italian banquet hall, live goldfish centrepieces and a very untraditional white leather wedding dress will the bride and groom have a nice day for a white wedding?


Season 1 Episode 8 Wheel & Deal 
Danielle and Paul are a young couple forgoing the purchase of a house so they can have the wedding of their dreams. Danielle has a vision of what she wants even if it doesn’t fit into the budget Paul has created for her. Wedding planner David Vallee helps stretch the couple’s budget but can only go so far. Family members are becoming opinionated—David expects this—but a flea market wedding cake is a new twist for him. The groom holds the chequebook and the money firmly in his hands while the plans keep growing.   


Season 1 Episode 9 Analysis Paralysis 
Jennifer and Greg want a sophisticated winter wedding but can’t seem to agree on anything within their budget. Every decision is over-analyzed and picked apart until they are back at square one! Sheryl Bielas is the wedding planner brought in to bring some solidity to Jennifer and Greg’s ever-changing plans. With a bride who has a hard time deciding, and a groom who just can’t make up his mind…can Sheryl create a melding of minds and of budget.
 

Season 1 Episode 10  Hey Big Spender
Maria and Scott are getting married and happiness abounds. No simple affair in the garden, they are planning a huge traditional Italian wedding for over 300 of their closest friends and family. Scott—the accountant as luck would have it—is opposed to anything that involves too much excess. Maria believes if she’s going to have a wedding day it should BE REAL BIG! Talented wedding planner David Vallee understands “BIG” comes with a price but Maria does not. Perhaps someone should have thought to hide the groom’s calculator, but it is too late now.


Season 1 Episode 11 Organized Chaos
Lin and Michael want a high-style wedding in a chic boutique hotel. Lin knows exactly what she likes and it’s not always cheap. Michael does have some concerns about Lin’s obsessive nature when it comes to organization. Cynthia Martyn is a professional wedding planner recruited to take some of the excess off of Lin’s plate. The menu for this tailored affair includes a bride who has to wear a stress guard for her teeth and an off the rack wedding dress. Cynthia’s job is to get the couple to the boutique hotel on time.
 

Season 1 Episode 12 Can’t Get No Respect
Kimberly and Fernando are a young couple with a new baby and a tight budget who encounter a slew of roadblocks on the path to planning their wedding. After totalling their car, this couple are forced to put things in perspective about what they want versus what they really need to make their dream day a reality. Wedding planners Lori Eldridge and Carina Holtby try to help this couple set things straight but things don’t always go as planned.



Season 1 Episode 13 Penny Pinching
Michelle and Rick just graduated university and with love in the air they now want to fast track their nuptials. Wedding Planner Yvette Shier is alarmed when she is informed of Michelle’s grand wedding dreams because she knows the couples’ limited funds simply won’t make the grade. Michelle hits the net in search of cheap finds and leaves Yvette wondering what will actually arrive in the mail. The pennies are being pinched—hard—and one wedding planner is nervously watching the mailbox.
